I am writing this blog to share my compelling experience with the tamil movie "kurudhi Punal"-by Padma Shree Kamal Hasan.
Even though, the movie was 12 years old,the kind of impact it created in me even watching several times is life-time. I am sure that even though the movie was not been commercially successful,the quality aspect of the movie is beyond many" "woods...(hollywood or bollywood).I am sure the reader will agree with me.
The story gives the essence of the root cause of terrorism,extremism in this country,way back in 1996 itself. We are seeing many bomb blasts,killings now.Infact,it has become part of our life.The movie smartly gives you the insight into why these kind of attacks are taking place,who are those terrorists etc. One of the main causes of terrorism is the Govt. itself,the politicians,law etc.
Why people become terrorists and extremists. Because of the circumstances,poverty,Negligence,Stigma and the Social Structure itself.
Finally,the story also tells that,how tough the life of a police man, and how tough,if he is honest.
